For select 2003-2007 Mitsubishi factory radios with AUX input capability, this cable has a 3 terminal connections that plug into the radio’s 14-pin or 22-pin connector and provide a direct audio input from any iPod with a dock connector. The MIT-IPOD also has separate power and ground wires tk charges the iPod while connected. By using the dock connector for audio output, the highest musical sound quality is achieved- much better than any FM transmitter or headphone adapter can provide. The iPod's click wheel controls are still used for song selection, play control, etc.
