This kit includes the PIE MAZ/PC-ALP Mazda to Alpine CD Changer Protocol Converter plus the IPOD-ALP Alpine to iPod dock connector cable that when used together allow a direct iPod connection to select Mazda factory radios. Connects to the 16-pin connector at the radio.

Note: This cable charges only Firewire compatible iPods.  All new iPods with only USB compatible charging (iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPod Nano 4G, iPod Classic 120GB, and iPod Touch 2G) will not charge unless an adapter such as this is used with it.
