The 2000-2002 Jaguar S Type are currently the only Jaguar models compatible with an aftermarket iPod interface.  These vehicles feature a Ford radio and can use the following interfaces from USA-Spec and Precision Interface Electronics:

The JAG/PC-POD and JAGW/PC-POD(2) from Precision Interface Electronics interfaces an iPod directly to the factory radio in select Jaguar vehicles, and takes the place of the factory CD changer. The interface retains the ability to use the iPod's screen and controls as well as provide basic operation through the CD changer controls of the factory radio (i.e. play/pause, track up/down, fast forward/rewind). The interface provides digital quality iPod sound and charges the iPod at the same time. Compatible with iPod models featuring the dock connector including the new iPod 3rd Generation nano and iPod classic.

The JAG/PC-POD and JAGW/PC-POD(2) are compatible with most S Type 2000-2002 CD Changer Control Radios. Vehicles equipped with the factory CD changer require the JAGW/PC-POD(2) that includes a cable to connect in the trunk after unplugging the factory CD changer. Vehicles with CD changer control radios that did not come with the factory changer require the JAG/PC-POD which connects at the back of the radio.

The USA-Spec PA11FORD1 interfaces provide direct connection for an iPod and an optional audio source such as satellite radio, DVD, or video game system. Both the iPod and the additional audio source can be selected from the factory radio’s front panel. Allows selection of tracks or playlists. Three different modes to control and play your iPod: Playlist mode, Direct Mode or Folder Mode (not available on all interface models).  The buttons on the radio select between the different operating modes and the Aux Input. All modes charge the iPod while connected, for up to one hour to prevent over-charging.

Playlist Mode: Use iTunes to create up to 4 favorite playlists and access them directly from the radio.  In Playlist Mode the iPod's controls are locked and the radio controls are used to access the contents on the device. Artist name and song title will be displayed on select model BMW Business CD radios.

Direct Mode: Search and select music on iPod just as you would in portable use. The iPod's controls are unlocked and offer complete access to all the contents on the device. You can use Direct Mode to listen to music streamed from Pandora or SIRIUS XM Online! Use the radio or steering wheel controls to perform track up/down, fast forward/rewind and volume up/down. No text is displayed in Direct Mode.
